Perinatal Counselling

When you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or doubting yourself as a parent,
remember –
your presence, not your perfection, is what your child needs most.

Finding your way through change

Becoming a parent, whether for the first time or again, can feel like navigating a whirlwind of  emotions and responsibilities.
It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed by the pressures of caring for a new baby while adjusting to this significant change in your life.
Perinatal counselling offers a safe, confidential space to slow things down and receive  support during this transition.

A space to feel supported and understood

Counselling provides a place to deepen your understanding of what you’re feeling, to gently  explore your experiences, and to find supportive ways to express emotions with your partner.  Together, we can look at how you stay connected with those around you, discover simple and  realistic approaches to self-care that fit into daily life, explore ways to nurture your bond with your baby, and develop strategies for balancing the needs of any other children.

Understanding, connection, and balance

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or uncertain, counselling can support you in reconnecting with yourself, deepening the bond with your baby, and finding a greater sense of balance and confidence as you move through this stage of life.
